Capturing Life on
YouTube
Since I was in middle school, I have always wanted to start a YouTube channel. From growing up on the dance stage to kicking off my high school pep rallies, I have always loved performance and the connection it fosters. This summer, I finally mustered up the courage to buy a camera and start my own channel. Whether I am vlogging a "week in the life of a premed student" or filiming a video with my roommates giving college advice, it has been such an incredible outlet and self-reflection tool. More than anything, it has brought me so much joy to hear people tell me that they watch my videos, not because I crave notoriety, but rather because that means that I was able to share a piece of my life with them. I will never forget running into a girl I have never met before on campus who stopped me and said that watching my videos is like watching a "big sister". There is so much that I am learning about myself and about life in my college journey, and getting to share those lessons through this platform has been an incredible gift. I am so excited to continue watching myself grow on this channel and share every step of the process with anyone who chooses to watch it.
